Beacon Wod Clothing Co.

BE THE LIGHT  |   SEE THE LIGHT  |  SPREAD THE LIGHT

Why choose us?

Our WHY

Beacon Wod Clothing Co. was born when we embraced our trails of life and let go to become a walking testimony of God goodness, love & grace. We have experienced those dark times and know the importance of not only seeing the light in those times, but also being the light and most importantly spreading the light. It is our goal to provide each customer with the opportunity to break free from buying an item based on name or fad, and instead to buy into a solution.

Our vision is to bring be the solution to our neighbors who might be going through that valley. To bring awareness for those who may not have a voice. To BE, SEE & SPREAD light. Love is a verb = lets be doers.

October’s Love in Action: BETHESDA HOUSE

October is a month awareness is raised for many. But, did you know October is also Domestic Violence Awareness Month? Here in our small town there is a safe place for women & children to go to. A small shelter with a big vision. As a shelter with limited space - just seven beds - the scope of their vision exceeds their actual size. By also focusing on outreach and education, Bethesda contributes to the efforts of others to shape the narrative about violence against women in the hope of eliminating it in our community. Bethesda House opens there doors to women & children experiencing domestic violence. In addition to a safe space with food and emotional support, Bethesda House residents have opportunities to receive: Trauma-based therapy, coping-skill development, art Engagement, Transportation, and much more. All services are offered free of charge. These services can be offered because people like you that are willing to give and service others. Our mission here at Beacon to not only Be the light but Spread the light. We want October to be a month where we spread light and awareness of  domestic violence. Domestic violence has personally affected me which makes me even more passionate about this month. As a child, I grew up in not the most ideal home. Two parents struggling with their own issues which at one point lead my mother, my sister and myself to reach out for help. That lead the three of us finding a safe place at a local domestic violence shelter. For the first time I seen my mom sleep peacefully, smile and be able to accept love. So I know first hand what places like Bethesda House can offer not only the women but the children.  We hope you join us this month to contribute to Bethesda House in Opp, AL

Our Tribe

Destiny, Eric & Brayden

Our tribe is fairly small, but the people in it are large in heart, love, humility & grace. For years we walked through those valleys. Valleys that taught us the beautiful unfailing love and grace of God. Now we live to be a beacon of that same love & grace. To truly embrace our purpose, sharing our story, struggles & Gods love to anyone He might place in our path. And to encourage you to be a Beacon for someone else. We hope we are given a chance to meet one day & hear your story.
